to write a play
about my life

a comedy of errors

Those musicians…what is it about them that makes my pulse rise and my cheeks blush?

I‘ve fallen in love with one too many. Last affair went on for years. I learned how to do my own form of kickboxing fighting off his other women who were crazier than me. I’m through with drama.

The image is a polaroid transfer that is highlighted with colored pencils and gold acrylic paint. It won a blue ribbon back in 1993 for the Gardena Arts Festival.  It is a self - portrait using masks.

The photos in the mirrors reflection were taken by Genie Nakano, lithographic process in cyanotype. A very old way of processing your film with sun rays-- an early morning self portrait--camouflaged by hair and glasses.
