I love writing--It's my joy, my therapy--my confession. I'm a performer, dancer, yoga and meditation instructor, write a poetry column for Rafu Shimpo. Growth and love of life is a key to my happiness.

  1. Thanks — I remember your comments and the reason for me reposting. I joined a haiku group and now teaching haiku. So just haiku for me for a while. no more long poems. Your comment is remarkable–longing of us gentle humans–that’s why I love Issa haiku.

  2. Genie,
This poem, coupled with that photo, I have told you before, I think is really remarkable. It seems to somehow concentrate some great insight into the longing of us gentle little humans, the ways in which we navigate crawly things and moments with ever-faith in our hopes of things to come.
