Evil David Abe
cheated us out of everything
he's doomed
in the doorway
times about to fall

we trusted David Abe
a handshake and words enough
naive and blind
husband walks old fashioned
trusting his fellow man

a million stars
whirling and twirling
down the drain
sucked by darkness
into a cesspool of feculence

David Abe's hands
are covered with guilt
no admission
refusing to believe--
games over you are out

no sweat on David Abe
he's getting paid
riding
on our backs
he buys a brand-new car

karma's
gonna get him
he stabbed us
front and back
stop the bleeding now

meantime
we are elders
little time
to start
all over again

David Abe you betrayed us
your devious ways 'n lies
will haunt you
make life a living hell
the truth will set you free
the truth will set you free

  1. Unfortunately, gone are the days of an honest handshake. I agree with Rosie about bachi. All JAs have grown up understanding bachi consequences from words or deeds. It all will come full circle at some point. However, he may not be able to correlate the two….

  2. In Japanese we say “Bachi ga ataru” – that is there will be divine punishment if your actions are malicious (similar to “Karma” but relates just to negative actions). This man is Japanese – he fully understands “Bachi” from his mother’s teachings. He has no shame. No heart. One day he will experience the consequences of his dishonorable actions.
