My front patio sits a peaceful Buddha.

Today I'm grateful I am an "elder". This is very rare attitude for me. but still...

My heart
is still a child
my body
is merely disobedient
I'm not ready for elder hood

  1. Love your use of the word “elderhood,” both a blessing and a challenge rings so true for those of us who are there. Really enjoy your work. Thank you.

  2. Hi, Genie! This was my comment. I’m not sure how it got posted as anonymous. Thank you for your beautiful art and thoughts! Vicki Wynne
